    The government responded on 20 April 2026

    Government expects local authority public meetings not to be conducted in foreign languages. Local authorities are already empowered to offer training for their members where they feel it necessary.

  3. Call a public inquiry into pro-Israel influence on politics & democracy

    The government responded on 17 April 2026

    The Government does not support a public inquiry, but takes the issue of foreign influence from any country and lobbying in UK politics very seriously and is already taking action to address this.
